No remorse

Ripped apart on the inside showing the beatings on the outside....
The whips hungry teeth bite and tear at my flesh...
My sins are seen as my blood pours down my own carnage...
I hear its laughter as the teeth come at me again...
Pulling out my dreams and ripping them apart and coming back for more...
The searing burning pain is almost to much to handle as the teeth pull out my love from every fiber of my body...
I see my love wreathing and fighting in pain to get back inside my body...
My heart...
Where it would have been safe....
Flipped over....
I see the whip...
It comes down, the whip bites me again...
It missed its mark...
Its back for more....
My soul screams for me to help...
But my hands are bound by lies...
I try to twist away...
My bloody wounds grinding into the bottom of the broken promise cesspool beneath me...
The teeth come down over my heart....
My hope dragged from my body beaten and cast aside....
I lay on the ground my wounds shown...
My everything laying around me dead and dying...
I am nothing anymore...
Your words are my whip and they have won and left me with nothing else...
I lay numb...
If it hurts, I feel it no more...
If its cold, I will freeze....
In your eyes you see that you have done nothing wrong....
That last swing of the whip buries its teeth deep into my heart...
The chewing and biting, grinding it to an unrecognizable pulp...
You have won...
I watch you walk away in your triumph....
Goodbye my everything...
Goodbye me

~sigh~

Your words are the sharpest razors along my skin
Your anger the whip across my back
Your Promises lay broken at my feet
Your love no longer burns along my skin

My words to you unheard as your most hated song
My anger for you can fight no more against your hate
My promises to you lay forgotten like an unwanted pet
My love for you lays broken in the streets like a late night brawl

Our words break each others hearts worse than any broken glass
Our anger drives us apart as far as the greatest canyons
Our promises remain no more as though we have past on
Our love is as the blackest of night never to be seen again
